Freitag-Weinhardt’s organization is structured to provide responsive decision-making in the field with ample support and resources available from management and our fabrication facilities.

We employ over 300 craftspersons at any given time working on projects throughout Indiana and Eastern Illinois with the support of 50 managers and administrators.

Our fabrication shop in Terre Haute, Indiana, is fully staffed to process jobs at a moment’s notice.

David W. Hill
President

Starting with F.A Wilhelm Construction, a sister company of Freitag-Weinhardt, in 1985, Mr. Hill served as Vice President from 1991-2000 when he was promoted to President of Freitag-Weinhardt. As President of Freitag-Weinhardt, Inc. Mr. Hill is responsible for corporate strategic planning and marketing, financial performance and company personnel. This includes the specific tasks of implementing procedures on estimating, scheduling, manpower, document control, cost control and expediting.

Mark A. Unger
Vice President

Mr. Unger joined Freitag-Weinhardt, Inc. in 1991 as an Estimator. Since that time he has served as a Purchasing Manager, Project Manager, and Operations Manager, specializing in providing owners the highest level of service and knowledge. During his tenure at Freitag-Weinhardt, Mark has developed many valuable relationships with key clients. As Vice President Mark will oversee the performance of the operations department and primarily be responsible for marketing, estimating and owner relationships. Mark will evaluate and monitor performance on projects from staffing, scheduling, productivity, profitability, quality and safety.

Robert T. Moreland
Operations Manager

Mr. Moreland has been with Freitag-Weinhardt, Inc. for over 20 years coming up though the trades as a pipefitter, advancing through the ranks spending time as a foreman, superintendent, project manger, contract manger and now service as operations manager. As Operations Manager, Mr. Moreland will work with the vice president and general superintendent in monitoring the operations performance for all F-W projects. His responsibility will be to work and assist the project managers and superintendents in monitoring project schedules, productivity, cost controls, material deliveries, subcontractor/supplier performance, designer and owner relations, profitability, quality and safety.

Raymond (Buddy) Austin
General Superintendent

Mr. Austin joined Freitag-Weinhardt, Inc. in 1998 and uses his 30 plus years experience in the industry to guide the field force capitalizing on productivity and quality. As General Superintendent Mr. Austin works in partnership with the Operations Manager to achieve successful projects. He coordinates field operations which include all Superintendents, and key personnel, equipment and material, union relations, warehouse, fabrication and assists in finding solutions for field problems.

Glenna R. Webster
Controller

Ms. Webster joined Freitag-Weinhardt, Inc. in 1999 as Controller. Her responsibilities with Freitag-Weinhardt, Inc. include supervision of all office personnel and all financial duties of the firm’s reporting, including budget and cost control.

David A. Werking
Business Development Manager

Mr. Werking joined Freitag-Weinhardt, Inc. as Business Development Manager in 2000. His responsibilities include leading the firm in identifying, developing and securing business opportunities, development and implementation of strategic marketing plans, and overseeing the development of marketing materials. David is also responsible for supporting the development of project proposals, promoting client- relationship activities, and representing Freitag-Weinhardt in the community and industry.
