​Freitag-Weinhardt is proud to announce that Mark Unger, President of Freitag-Weinhardt, has been elected by a jury of his peers to serve as the President of the Statewide Mechanical Contractors Association of Indiana (MCAI). Unger's appointment is a testament to his extensive experience and dedication to the industry.

Mark Unger has been a cornerstone of Freitag-Weinhardt for over three decades. Beginning his career with the company 33 years ago, he has served as President for the past 16 years. His leadership and commitment have been instrumental in the company’s growth and success.

Beyond his professional achievements, Unger is deeply involved in the Terre Haute community. His roles include:

• Board Member of the Terre Haute Economic Development Corporation Committee
• Board Member of the Terre Haute Boys and Girls Club
• Local Pension Plan Board Member
• Board of Directors for the Health and Welfare Trade Association
• Chairman of the Education Trust Committee

As the newly elected President of the MCAI, Unger will serve a two-year term, during which he will oversee the governance of the Indiana State Board of Directors. His election by the State MCAI Board of Directors underscores his peers' confidence in his ability to lead and advocate for the mechanical contracting industry in Indiana.
